log off from the system

Dear friend,

How to make fast logout from the AIX. Roughly to take 5 min to get the disconnected message.
The process will log out from database (Universe)then Aix (4.3.3) subsequently. At the user .profile I added logout command

Is it the database logout that is taking so long? Have you tried just logging on to the AIX system (not to the database) and then logging out?
