My 81C services an Airfield. Currently we have NXX 991 and SPN 911 setup to route over PRI trunks to the City 911 Emergency Services. The airfield has it's own emergency response units (fire, rescue, police,EMT) and wants to change so that when 911 or 9 911 is dialed the call is routed to 1 of 3 Emergency dispatch M2616s and the Airfield's Emergency Services are dispatched instead of the City's.

I can figure out how to do it, if I continue to use the PRI routing. I can use DMI, strip the 911, then add the DID of the M2616. The call will go out and then will be routed back to the 81C by the CO.

I can't figure out how to do this locally without using the PRI trunk routes. Any Ideas?

Have you tried entering just the 4 or 5 digit extension of the emergency dispatch 2616 in your DMI? That should keep the calls local to your switch.

Your 9-911 will show up in you SPN table as 911
Your 911 will show up in your SPN table as 11

You will need to create a new RLI for the 9-911
LD 86
First create a DMI to delete all digits and insert the extension
Req: New
Feat: DGT
DMI: <-- enter a dmi number not in use
Del: 3
Inst: <-- enter the ext number you want to ring

Then add the RLI
Req: New
Feat: RLB
RLI: <-- enter an rli number not yet defined
Entry: 0
LTER: Yes
FTR: 0
DMI: <-- enter the DMI just built

Now assign 9-911 to this RLI
LD 90
Req: Chg
Feat: Net
Tran: AC1
Type: SPN
SPN: 911
RLI: <-- enter the new RLI

Now change the 911

Req: Chg
Feat: DGT
DMI: <-- enter a dmi number used for the RLI of SPN 11
Del: 2
Inst: <-- enter the ext number you want to ring

Then chg the RLI
Req: chg
Feat: RLB
RLI: <-- enter an rli number not yet defined
Entry: 0
LTER: Yes
FTR: 0
DMI: <-- enter the DMI just built

Test each number as you complete each step
