load error; printserver100 error

Had simultaneous problems: no printers worked, and WP10 wouldn't open.

Deleted all printer icons from printers folder.
Re-installed and they work ok in all programs, including QP10 from the WP suite.

Clicking on WP icon brought up 'Close-Ignore' box.
couldn't open WP.
Was running WP10/sp2 on W98se.
Uninstalled entire suite. Reinstalled. Still no access.
Ran sp3.

Now, when I get the 'Close-Ignore' box, I hit Ignore twice, and WP opens. i can load any doc and do any function ... until I print.

Then I get Printserver100 error with same 'Close-Ignore' box. Again, I hit Ignore twice, and it prints.

What changed?
What's next?
and what about Naomi? (joke)

I've had the same experience Henry Schulkin explained in thread67-383345 regarding unidrv.dll and printserver100.exe faults in conjunction with wpwin10. Anyone out there with a suggestion? Henry, did you manage to stumble upon a solution you could share with us? All thoughts are welcome.

Hello All:

I don't know if this will help BUT! I have found that Win 98 UNIDRV.DLL has caused all kinds of problems ie. conflicts with WP 8, MS OFFICE (2000) and Internet(webpage) Printing on my HP 832 & 932 printers. My solution was to simply delete UNIDRV.DLL! I have never noticed any need for this @$"$#*^@.DLL. I renamed it first in case but never reinstalled or missed it. I think that Microsoft just put it there to annoy us

I had the same problem. I found the solution at this website:

Download a newer version of UNIDRV.DLL and replace the old driver. That will fix the error of starting WPwin10 and maybe other problems as well. Hope this solves your problems.
