List VDN?? Confused...

Hi Folks,

CM 3.1.4

Just a query rather than a problem. When I run the List VDN command I have one column which is titled "Event Notif". Some of the listed VDN's have a 1 in this column, others have nothing and I can't find where that piece of info is defined or what causes it to appear or what it indicates.

Can anyone please enlighten me?

I did a li vdn while in GEDI, it looks like its tied to the COR somehow. I noticed all of our VDNs that are COR of 1, have the Event Notif as 1, and if we change the cor on it, it is left blank. Just food for thought.

I had thought about that but it doesn't seem to be the case here. I have VDN's with the same COR that display different entries in the event notif field when list vdn is ryn. I have aslo tried sorting by Vector, Tennancy and Skill and again I get different entries. Am finding it hard to tie this into any one thing.

Does anyone have any other suggestions?

I think it has something to do with whether or not that VDN is being monitored by an adjunct, like Cisco ICM (sometimes still referred to as Geotel)

The VDN being monitored by an adjunt like IVR is correct.

The Event notification number is the number of the notification adjunct to the MAPD’s. (CTI links) Below is an excerpt from Avaya documentation.

Event Notification / Adj: Contains the extension of the ASAI
application link that has the notification.
