I have a 100% NT domain. One of my techs wants to install a Linux server on our domain. Are there any special concerns or security worries I should have?

Yes,You should concern the security.Because you will use samba as NT Domain. The protocol is netbios for file sharing.

NOTE: the security issue isn't due to 'linux' it's an issue w/ nt, windows and the netbios.. if you are going to use it, I'd strongly suggest you use ftp to transfer files, it'll be a little more secure, unless this is to be used on a private segment, at which point be defination you should be ok
