I have small network of Windows XP machines and a Window server 2003.
Have just received from another department 3 x Lexmark S1855's with network cards.
have installed printer software on the server given it a static IP address and shared the printer, all looks OK on the server.
I have connected a printer to a data point on the network and have a conection back to the server.
The problem is that I cant print to the Lexmark as when I print the network menu from the printer panel the IP address is incorrect. How can I change this to match the IP address given when installing the printer on the server?

You simply have to set the IP address on the printer. It normally defaults to DHCP but you can easily change that.

On the printer, go to the Network menu and navigate to the TCP/IP settings. It should be self-explainatory from that point on.
