Please help me understand the maximum capacities of a Legend 7.0. Avaya specs say there can be 280 physical jacks (80 lines + 200 extensions) plus there can be 55 adjuncts for a total of 335 endpoints. Does one not have to use an existing address when programming an adjunct? How then do you exceed 200? Also, are not Pools (11), Page Zones (7), Park Zones (8), and Group Calling (32) addresses (total of 58) counted as endpoints? Finally, does anyone have an experience of the upper practical limit of lines and extensions for reliable operation of the Legend or is it more a matter of the amount of traffic? Thanks.

With the Legend you can have MFM's Multi function modules on the bottoms of the MLX telephones. These are alternate extensions to the extension for things like modems and such.

You can have a maximum of 3 T-1/PRI Cards in the system.

If you are worried about upper limit capacity it sounds like you are looking at expansion in which case it may be time to upgrade to a Definity or other true PBX solution.

Good Luck! and Happy Holidays!
