Legend Line 802-I message

One extension in the office is having this problem. When line is picked up he does not get dial tone like rest of office(He has to press line button). After inspecting buttons there is a button that stays lit called Line 802-I. It cannot be deleted or changed when programming. Also, paging system still comes through when he is on phone and on DND. Any help? Thanks

You can remove this button via system programming/extensions/lines/trunks, enter his extension number and press the appropriate button for line 2. The G and/or red light should go out beside shift F2. That removes lines from stations.

Once this is done, go to centralized programming and redo buttons, as I think they have all changed on you.

Remove any unwanted headset buttons etc. and restest phone.

It should work at this point.
