Legato Restore

Hi,

I am attempting to restore the data on some Legato Networker DLT tapes.

The backups were created on another server (different server names) using Networker V6.1.12, on Windows 2000.

I can inventory the tapes using scanner.

When i try to perform a restore using scanner and the index number (scanner -S 601747969 \\.\Tape0 -x uasm -rv -m /=/)

it runs part through, but fails with the following error:

"write failed, Broken pipe \\filename"

The job will then stop.

Any ideas?

Hi! This is a permanent scanner-problem. Try to contact Legato, i think there is a RFE available or in progress.
