Ive just installed a hp deskjet 640c onto a new XP machine, when u send a print the print icon flashes up in the bot right then dissappears, and no print comes out.

If you go into the port settings there allow lagacy support, if i tick that its fine. Butttt when they reboot its same again i have to go in untick the box reboot and then retick .

anyone know why it does this, Ive also noticed that a scanner can dissapear from winodws XP also has something todo with this legacy option ?
