Hi, i am currently developing a website. When i put a login in the top right, the layout goes all weird and if i take the login out, it works fine??

Can anyone explain why this does this and is there a fix??

Regards,

Martin

Computing Help And Info:

It could be because You have 29 errors, According to the wr validator.

I can't be sure they are the cause of your problems, but i would fix them if I were you.

Here is the link to the errors.

----------------------------------
Ignorance is not necessarily Bliss, case in point:
Unknown has caused an Unknown Error on Unknown and must be shutdown to prevent damage to Unknown.

Probably because it doesn't validate, and FF is more forgiving than IE in those errors.

Example:

validator.w3 said:
Below are the results of checking this document for XML well-formedness and validity.

1. Error Line 29 column 13: end tag for "tr" omitted, but OMITTAG NO was specified.

</table></td>

[red]You may have neglected to close an element, or perhaps you meant to "self-close" an element, that is, ending it with "/>" instead of ">".[/red]

is Refering to the fact, that you open a [blue]<tr>[/blue]

tag, but never close it here:
Code:
[red]<tr>[/red]
          <td width="320" id="sectionLinks"><a href="#">Team <strong>22</strong> - <strong>2</strong> Team</a> <a href="#">Team <strong>22</strong> - <strong>2</strong> Team</a> <a href="#">Team <strong>22</strong> - <strong>2</strong> Team</a> <a href="#">Team <strong>22</strong> - <strong>2</strong> Team</a> <a href="#">Team <strong>22</strong> - <strong>2</strong> Team</a></td>[green]There should be a </tr> here[/green]

      </table>

Forgot to say, errors like that will obviously throw everything off when new stuff is added.
Since the browser will think everything is part of the <tr> until it finds a closing tag somehwere.

Go through your code an the validator erros. most have small explanations under them.
