Halo,

I'm looking for feedbacks about an XML online editor. I would like feedbacks
about things like : does it fully work on your browser (give browser reference), does the usefulness clearly appears at first glance, does the meaning of the available functions is easly guessed, and so on...

The design has not been worked a lot, and I agree this is not an exemple of what beauty is. Any where, any feedback about it will be nice as well :)

The online application is available at this location :
Note: this editor does not look and feel like other common XML applications, which are mainly dedicated to tree manipulation... this is fully on purpose. This application is not intended to be use for database content edition, but rather for edition of textual document (like article as an exemple). Thus, this is not an application for developpers.

Many thanks for any feedbacks, impresses and suggestions :)

Hasta la proxima

P.S. All help and messages in this application are written in french. This is the state at the time beeing, but an english version will obviously comes enventually. Tell me if you really have troubles with this fact, and I will quicly make an english version for those tests.

Hello every body out there :)

No comments at all ?

Does any one already tried it ? Are they some body here using any kind of publication chain based on XML ?

This editor is intended to be more friendly for rel texte edition, while other xml tools are mainly db oriented.

Do you think this may help ? Do you think this may be useful ?

Many thanks for any comments and feed-back

.... and Happy new Year to all :)

It looks reasonable, but I'm thinking that your markup, such as bold, italic, etc., will need to be tags as well.

Good afternoon Miros

You point an interesting lack in my first presentation of the application (thanks for this comment). There is no style (eg. like bold, italic, and the like), beceause every things is semantic here.

All elements are semantic elements, and if some are displayed in italics, this is just to better distinguish them.

You comment make me think that I should not use italic or bold, but only rely on colors and the little tag drawn at the top-left corner of each element.

That's right that this may be confusing at first sight, and I should remove this from the exemple document, while keeping the possibility to use this kind of visual effect for people who well understood that the italic or else is just a way to distinguish elements.

Many thanks again for your comment, and a merry new year to you friend Miros :)
