I am using a 4500dn at home and one at work. The one at work is fine.

The one at home prints with a film over the print. it look wery milky.

I had it serviced and was print fine for two weeks. I have since replaced the transfer unit as it only had 5% left, I also replaced the fuser unit. It has not made any difference. The drum still has 60% left.

Any suggestion would be appreciated.

When it was serviced, was it thouroughly cleaned?
There may be a lot of toner in the toner tray, and in the rear of the carousel. Check the Transfer roller, not the belt, for toner. Pull the fuser, and slide out the black toner waste tray to empty. There is probably toner in the laser. Lot of screws to remove!. Top cover, left cover, then the RF shielding plate at top front of unit.
Good luck!

Thanks Michael52x,
VERY good points. Yes the unit was spripped and plasted with air gun. No there is no toner in the tray. For anyone else reading this it is behind the fuser tilt it slightly to remove. As it contains toner it is best vacuumed up. Yes the transfer roller was changed with the tranfer belt. Have more spare filter now as they come with the fuser kit and trasfer kit.

A very valid point about the laser. will try this option, but as the colour are ok just milky it could be a film of toner as suggested. Good thing I have the service manual download.

Again thanks for the suggestion
