Large spool files

Hi There,

We have been experiencing an issue when printing from our application, Nitro PDF Professional, to certain HP printers. Basically the crux of the issue is that when we print *any document* to certain HP printers (such as HP LaserJet 1220 Series PCL, HP Deskjet 3740 Series, HP LaserJet 2100 Series PS, etc) we get unusually large spool files (e.g. a 37.1 MB spool size for a 327 KB file).

The HP OfficeJet V40 printer is the only HP printer, that I've come across, which doesn't have a huge spool file when printed from Nitro PDF on my machine.

Does anyone have any ideas on what could be causing these huge spool files?

Commonly this is caused by corrupt drivers. When we moved to XP on mass, we had and still have a number of instances when the printer drivers corrupt on the user profiles. Meaning they have to be reset and all drivers deleted from offending workstation/s
