Does anyone know of a recall on the KX-TDA0152 Cell Station Unit for overheating, failure ?

I just installed 6 of then on a job and went to order 1 more and was told they were on backordered 6-8 weeks and may have to send back the other 6 for replacement.

I am a member of a TDA group and I have heard mention of this. Basically, they had a problem with them overheating and they stopped working. This was also in a refrigerated warehouse. Go figure.

Thanks, I was told by Panasonic that they are indeed going to be replacing my TDA0152 with TDA0142 if I don't want to wait for the TDA0152. Which from everything I can find out about the two they are exactly the same. 3 channel

If you have access to the panasonic b2b website you can log into the forum and find it. It is basically a Yahoo group that a TDA Certified dealer put together. Check it out.
