Hi,

we are Running ArcServe Backup v9. After a reboot of my Client(WIN 2000) I can't access the Job-Status.
The Error Message is "There are not enougt rights for user Guest on server MYSERVER to complete this transaction. (EC=0)".
On the Server Site I have full access and yesterday i could see my scheduled jobs...
Please help and excuse my bad english........

Although, I have not tested it out I believe you must be an Administrator to use the ARCserve Manager and Server. The default Guest account does not have enough rights in the system so you should not use it for this.

Thanks for the message, but for the connection i am using the caroot account (in the context menu of the current host)with the valid password and i think this is the internal root account for arcserve????

In which module i can switch from <guest> to <administrator>, i could not find anything...

I'm refering to the NT user that you are currently logged on as. You should be an administrator and the ARCserve system account should be an administrator.
