we've installed Tone Commander 7810 POE SIP phones on a full Avaya system; Session Manger, System Manager...the works.
However we're starting to see some issues with these TEO phones and the way they are programmed.
Some issues are with Bridged Appearances. Bridging another TEO extension onto a TEO phone. We've found that certain phones are reporting that the bridging just stops working. The bridged appearances don't ring, the call can't be picked up. The phone has to be rebooted or worse, the bridged appearances have to be reprogrammed and re-registered to the TEO phone.
Twice now, we've had reports that the handset fails. One reported still able to hear the caller, but the caller can't hear the TEO user. While another reported very, very low transmission volume...probably on it's way to the previsous issue.
Other people have reported issues with call forwarding from a TEO phone to an Avaya 96xx phone and the inability to answer the call and to stop the 96xx phone from ringing and ringing and ringing.
They are all odd issues and occassionally tough to recreate. Has anyone experienced anything like this? if so, I'd love to hear back from you.
