We are required to set out Out of Office notification when we go to Dr. Appts. or other times for days off. Can I create a list maybe in Access and have Outlook read it somehow and create and Out of Office thingy?

Can you expand a little on your idea there, so we know what you mean? My first guess was that you wanted somehow for Outlook to automatically set you as "out of office" if no activity for some set amount of time or something..

What I'm now thinking is that you want to have a list of dates when you plan on being out, and that Outlook will read those dates and set the Out of Office automatically?

Yep that's it exactly. read a list of dates and maybe times too, and create Out of Office replies based on that list? Maybe have the actually reply in the list too
So fields like so
DateOut TimeOut DateReturn TimeReturn ReplyWhenOut
11/15/08 12:30 11/15/08 14:30 Dr's Appt
11/26/08 08:00 12/01/08 08:00 Extra Day off for Thanksgiving

Is Outlook run off of an Outlook Exchange Server or just a POP mail address? I'm assuming Exchange, but that could be important.

Also, honestly, I think this would be one really big project to accomplish. If you get it to work, it will take a lot of time. Which leads me to my next thought: is it really worth it?
