I thought that IPO R8.0.18 was supposed to fix the issue of upgrading from R7 within the 90-day entitlement period.
Have a system with VM Pro that was upgraded from R7.0.27 to R8.0.16. Everything seemed fine until the system got to within 1 day of the 90-day period expiring. Now the VM Pro licenses show as dormant.
Upgraded to R8.0.18 to try to fix the issue and after several upgrades - the licenses remain dormant.
Now downgrading back to R7 to get VM Pro working again. Has anyone had this problem?? Do I need to get a free "courtesy" upgrade to R8 from the distributor? Should I have downgraded to R7 first and then applied the new R8 upgrade?
I am totally confused with this newest Avaya debacle!
