Hey all,
I need some help. I have an IPO 5.0.15 with 5 remote VPN (5621's) I'm using a sonicwall TZ200. I had them all working fine for 2 weeks, and now they are not connecting... after 4 hour on the phone with sonicwall support they say its the Avaya. We ar getting an error in the sonicwall log that says "VPN IKE Payload processing failed" on my IP 5621's i get IKE Phase2 no response. Error code 3997699:0, Module: IKMPD:353 and Error code: 3997700:0 Module: IKECFG:1184.

Does anyone understand this?

Sonicwall is picky with the IPOffice.
See if it is on the latest firmware.

its not getting that far. it is a problem in the VPN tunnel "VPN IKE Payload processing failed" it works fine when it connects. I am working with Avaya tier 3 now. thanks

Jeffthephoneguy, did you get a response from Tier3? I'm having the exact same issue. Same software version as well.

clear all the settings on the phone and start with a fresh profile.

perhaps someone has been messing with the handset?

Im not certian, but you should be able to lock down the phone with the 46vpnsettings.txt file

I wish someone would mess with this handset... Unfortunately it has only been on my desk. So I shuold default it and try again?

The issue was in the end with SonicWall. After working with 3 tech from SW. I got someone who know the problem. I will look at the case in my SonicWall page and send the fix update here.
