Where do I find my IP Office Preferred Edition Hostname?

Hostname for what purpose?

General access (System | System | Name), SIP extensions (System | LAN | SIP Registrar FQDN) or SIP trunks (its complex).

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

Hostname for creating 3rd Party Signed Certificate to be used with Workplace deployment.

I am guessing he is asking about a FQDN, but I could be wrong.

I know where to find the HostName in Server Edition. Just want to make sure I have the right hostname for Preferred Edition.

As said, that may not be the hostname you need, or the only one you need. My server's hostname may be "bob" but for some reason the SIP registrar FQDN can be chris.example.com, i.e. its hostname part of the FQDN for SIP extensions, including Workplace, doesn't have to match the server's hostname (not sure why you would want it to differ but people do weird things).

The IP Office security guidelines doc has a list of which parts need to be in a certificate's SAN different clients. I found an error in that list so was waiting to talk to some folks tomorrow, but the implication is that both would be needed (the server host name as part of a FQDN for the server and the specific SIP registrar FQDN).

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

I have to admit I am out of my depth with this, but for certificate purposes in a Preferred Edition without a app server in security settings there is an entry. This is just a guess.

The certificate is uploaded to the IPO not the voicemail server and the SIP domain is the name you enter.
You enter the FQDN, create the cert and then upload it.
No uploading to the voicemail or apps server because the connection is going to the IPO not the voicemail server.
