Open question for those with inside links: Has anyone heard of any plans in Avaya's roadmap to port applications onto the MacOS? This would open up many additional doors for us as well as provide a counter-point to one criticism from our Asterix competitors.

Not on 5.X antway :-(

I should say that's from the 5.0 field trial info as oppose to any insider knowledge, but it takes them 2 years to support the latest Microsoft OS :)

Some of the end user apps are going to java/browser which should mean they would be open platform.

I think that Avaya has some deal with Microsoft going as I can't even get the caveats website working on anything but IE, or maybe I am just daft which I will not rule out.

Ever tried using the Googlr Crome browser on Delta Server. It don't like it one bit!!!

MS only is the way Avaya play it!

I just stick to IE. Don't have to worry too much about cetain things not working.

Why, because I'm lazy and can't be bothered installing and using other browsers!!! ;-)

I always thought my European colleagues would be leaning more towards Linux and pressuring Avaya to port IP Office aps onto Linux (and maybe eventually OS-X [thumbsup2] ).

VMware Fusion with Windows would be one option.
Can you get to UNIX, then you could use Wine.
