Going on from that (and it could be to do with the previous thread "IP 5550 with v6.0 software"
Having never used a 5550 apart from in the lab...
The system I have runs auto day/night from 08.00 till 17.00 with a seprate day and night greeting.
I was assuming that the day/night option within the 5550 software would also change the greeting as well as the COS.
This 5550 certainly doesnt. Should it? Or does it just change the Cos?
Not that Im worried. I am thinking of having the same message for day and night and using voicemail to look after out of hours options.
Also, apart from recording the greeting twice for day and night, is there any other way around that?
AND (lots today) Do you guys normally have an operator voicemail for out of hours, or do you just let the system say the Opertator isnt avaiable and drop the call?
