Good morning,

Cisco Unity 10.5

Just created a new VM partition, with mailboxes. Calling Search Space, phone system settings, port group as well as ports have been built and gone over several times for accuracy. When trying to set up a test mailbox, dialing a remote access number, I can put the ID number in as 10 digit. When I put in the PIN number, which should be the default, I get "Invalid Entry". Tried resetting the password and get the same. Rebuilt the mailbox, same thing. Anyone have any simular experiences with this "invalid entry"?

Thanks,

Soop

You are dialing UCXN externally and getting the message? If so, does it work internally?

Mailboxes are built on our corporate Unity system. Users are on a remote Nortel Option 11. We have implemented a PIMG device to integrate between the TDM PBX and the Cisco Unity. I am attempting to set up a test mailbox before I have the site dial in to set up their mailboxes. I am dialing to our remote Unity access number, enter the ID of the user, after I enter the defaulted PIN, I get the invalid entry.

What type of signalling is set for the gateway that connects both? MGCP, H323, or SIP? I am thinking theres a DTMF issue.

Do you have dtmf-relay on all your dial peers that are pointing towards Unity? Or CM if thats where they point.
