My laptop is Windows XP SP2 with IE6 SP2 connected to the internet via ADSL and wireless router.

Today I got a trojan virus from a site I opened that opened about 18 browsers and installed all sorts of rubbish.

I have removed the trojans and cleared spyware using ad-aware and spybot s&d. I also ran windows updates.

My PC is more or less OK now with a couple of exceptions. On certain webpages now the page appears to load twice and the second time it loads some words on the page are displayed as links.

Also, despite having pop up killer and google toolbar, all sorts of ad screens are popping up quite randomly too.

Can anyone advise what I could have missed? I can't seem to figure it out

Any help appreciated.

Thanks

Think I have got this sorted now. enhancemysearch had hijacked my browser. I managed to remove with another spyware tool
