Hi, is there any way that I can access my office computer from home?

I already tried PC Anywhere, which works fine for me at the office and on my network, but I would like to access my network from the internet. I did a trial with Gotomypc software and it works fine, but a bit expensive. I would only need access to my office computer from home about twice a month. At present, my office computer can connect to all other computers on my network including the server.

My home is on another island.
I use different ISP's for each. They both have different DNS server addresses and subnets.
Would it help if I'm using the same ISP for both?

Hello,

I use pcanywhere 10 to connect to my office from home.
My office has a pc connected to the internet (always) and has a pcanywhere host waiting for connections on it.

When my home pc connects to the internet, i simply type in the ip of my office machine and connect using pcanywhere.

You should be able to do the same.

Hope this helps,

Akart
