I have a customer who has a BCM400 who would like to extend some lines through a channel bank. My question is how do I assign a number to a trunk on a T1? Currently we have a T1 built and interfacing a channel bank, but am not seeing where I can have certain numbers hit a a specific channel? Thanks in advance.

A T1 is 24 channels, the phone company can digitally cross connect 24 Trunks to the T1. A newbridge channel bank before the BCM T1 can breakout some or all of the 24 channels.
ISDN PRI 23 + D can have equipment between to drop out some channels the same way if you want to use it as your internet provider or other data.
