I am having an issue with a very small peer to peer Windows 98 network (it is actually more of an annoyance than anything). Then one machine as it boots up asks for your username and password for windows networking (client for MS networks is the primary logon). Once you put in the password, no problems seeing the other machine. The second machine doesn't prompt for a user name and password, just goes directly into the GUI. It can't see the network either. The workaround is to go to start and logoff. Once you are logged off, it then prompts for a username and password and once you enter it, no problems. Everything is set up the EXACT same way on both machines, what am I missing here? I have uninstalled and reinstalled the network protocols, services, etc. with no change. How do I get the login to appear first? Any input would be appreciated.

A+, Net+ on the way...........

I am 95% positive that none of the users there are knowledgeable enough to create an auto logon, but I'll check the registry just in case........In the meantime any other insight would be appreciated.
