I need the installation CD StartSmart ML150 G2 Server to reinstall Windows Server 2003 because it displays on the screen no hard drives are installed I tried to install by loading the drivers with a floppy disk

Mihad,
How are you trying to load the drivers? (Please be specific in your steps). Also what drives and array controller are you using? Are the drives in the server or in an external array of some type?

Here is a link to the drivers. You need the one specific for your array controller.
I ask, because I don't think the drivers are on the SmartStart CD. It's been a while so I could be mistaken, but every time I've needed to do use additional drivers, I've installed them from floppy or USB.

Mihad,
Here is a quick overview. If you need step-by-step, that will take longer to type.
1. Boot from the SmartStart CD. Configure your array(s) and logical drive(s).
2. Boot from your windows server CD. During the start-up process there should be an option to add additional drivers. I think it shows F6 in the lower left-hand corner, but don't hold me to it. Then later during the install process it will ask you to insert your driver disk.

Again, the driver needs to be for the array controller. Windows doesn't talk directly to the disk, it goes through the array controller.

Hello blister911 ,

I have not the SmartStart cd

I inform you
Hard drive 160 GB SATA

The steps of my installation
I boot with the cd windows 2003 server
I press the F6 key
when the message insert the disk of drivers
I insert the floppy with the drivers downloaded from the website
I continued installing but it displays on the screen no hard drive.

Thank you

Mihad,
Are you using an array controller? It sounds like you are not. If not, make sure the boot order for your devices is set correctly. Also make sure the drive is found on POST. If the server can't see the drive at the hardware level, the OS definitely won't be able to find it.

Good luck.

You need to use the smartstart cd in order to install your OS. and you HDD might not be setup so the OS can see it a hardware level... download the smartstart cd make disc incert disc boot. then setup system. your drives may not be setup yet...

use the link above to get the smartstart cd.....
