Install NAV on Checkpoint server

I have an CheckPoint NG running on Windows 2000 Server. I want to protect the server. Can I install NAV Corporate Edition 8.0 client without causing any problems with the firewall?

Do I need to stop the Checkpoint services or can I do it online? I'd like to get this insatll right away and I have limited downtime. Just want to make sure it's not a problem.

I didn't have to stop anything....I don't even thing I had to restart, but then I don't remember if I had to or not.
