In Windows 98 I used to connect to a Windows 95 notebook using the virtual COM4 port of an external infrared device attached to COM1 and share printers/folders.
Now, with Windows ME, although everything seems identical, the Direct Cable Connect program gives an error amd does not connect. Why does this happen and how can I solve the problem?
