Importing word document into access database

Hello

I have a word document with many form fields (approx 20). I would like to ideally email this form out so that the recipient can fill it out and email back to me. Then I would like to import the data into an existing table in may access database. I have been trying to import it but have not been able to get it to work properly. How would I do this?

I've used MS Excel for a similar purpose.. Basically had user fill in certain fields, then save file in certain folder... Brought entire file into database table, then walked through table picking what info was needed...

Thanks for your suggestion.

My only worry with excel is that the contact may not have the program, therefore i would like to offer this in a word document as well in order to cover both bases. In the case that the contact may not have either program, I would have to fax the form for the contact to fill out manually.

I have been playing with this today.. So far, I have a table in Word that has 25 fields and also has 25 form fields so that the info can be filled out. Unfortunately, because of the size of the page, I have to change the text direction so that it fits on one page. That is fine but, when I deliver it to my contact to fill out, I would like the word document to be viewed on it's side so that the text is readable (upright). I realize that this may be a question for word. I am making progress on this feature!

Any suggestions would be appreciated!
