Hello, I'm currently laying out a journal for Fullerton University, and I've run into a bit of glitch with framemaker 7.0.
When I import a word document with footnotes, or an RTF document, the numbering of the footnotes changes. Instead of 75 in the body text, i get something like 6575, and then the corresponding note at the base of the page will have 75, then a superscript 6 right before the beginning of the body of the note. This doesn't occur in all the files I've been working with, which leads me to believe that it's some word-processor/framemaker interaction rather than a purely framemaker difficulty.
My last option is to convert to text, and than manually place all the footnotes...obviously, I would prefer to avoid that, so if anyone could help me I'd be grateful.
