Imported video larger than original

Hi,

I am importing an avi that is less than 3 MB in size into FMX. The exported swf is a whopping 11.5 MB. Without the video it is only 64 kB.

Is there a way to dodge to Sorenson "compression" or I don't know... does anyone have any ideas?

then how deep are your pockets

the sorenson that comes with flash is very basic

to get what you want you may have to buy ver 3

At what quality have you set it when importing? Looks like you chose 100%. 90% or less (even 99%) will usually generate a much smaller sized .swf than 100% would and without that much loss on quality.
