Hi,

I am importing an avi that is less than 3 MB in size into FMX. The exported swf is a whopping 11.5 MB. Without the video it is only 64 kB.

Is there a way to dodge to Sorenson "compression" or I don't know... does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks.

for cd there are some nice third party tools (free ones)

If you want to zip it up I'll run it through Sorenson Squeeze for you - info@wangbar.co.uk

At what quality have you set it when importing? Looks like you chose 100%. 90% or less (even 99%) will usually generate a much smaller sized .swf than 100% would and without that much loss on quality.

Bacon, eggs and sunshine are still good for me!
