We recently moved our email to an in house server running exchnage 2003. Problem is, all of our contacts in outlook, were stored in a pst file. Now that we have exchnage, we would like to have the original contacts stored in the exchange GAL. Is there an easy way to import them all in to exchange? That way they are visible to everyone.

Several ways, really. You could create a Public Folder and drag & Drop them to the Public Folder. Then enable them as an Address Book, but that's a per user setting.

Creating mail enabled contacts would be a pain, but would be done at the ADUC level, and would apply to all.

Well I know that you could create individual contacts in AD, but that would be very time consuming for all contacts. I was hoping there was a way to automate that. Some sort of import. As for creating a public folder, if I did that, and set it as an address book, could others view those entries, or would they have to create a public folder as well and drag and drop?

Create one public folder, drop them in then everyone can add that as an address book with no need to recreate the folder or add the contacts again.
