Could anyone give me any idea how to fix this.
If you go to the opening 2 scrollers have a lot of lines through them and run choppy. Also click on galleries link, then click on lifestyle. As you click next through the images you can again see the lines throughout the images. I have reduced the size of the images, set the alpha to 99% but nothing is working. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
I'm new here but looking forward to lots of quality time !!!!!

It's mainly down to the size of the images I think. The Flash player isn't all that powerful and moving big images around isn't something it does smoothly at the best of times.

First of all it might be an idea to reduce the movie's overall size onscreen - rather than use 100% scaling centre the movie in a table at the same pixel size you're building it at, that will reduce the amount of work Flash has to do.

Lengthen the tweens (if you are using tweens, if not alter your actionscript to move the pic by a smaller amount) then try increasing the framerate which should smooth things out. You should be able to get away with 25 fps, maybe more, it looks a lot slower than that just now.

If, as you mentioned, the alpha setting on the pics is 99% put it back up to 100% as you're forcing the player to work harder if it's having to work out transparent pixel values.
