Again and again I see posts stating that I should store images in my file system with some kind of reference to them stored in my database.

Why is this? Is there some inherent problem with storing the images in the database, with displaying them, with utilizing them in ASP later?

I am just starting to look at how to allow the users of my system to submit pictures, but before I worry about how to get them to submit the pictures on a form I have to determine how I am going to store the pictures.

Someone please tell me why I should or shouldn't store the images in my database or my file system. [sig]
Crystal
crystals@genesis.sk.ca

--------------------------------------------------
