ie vs. netscape AAaaahrgh!!

I am experimenting with layers & CSS and that !@#$!$#@ page is not comming up the same way in netscape & ie. It's probably my fault but where? I'm going nuts!

well, i think you'll have to get used to that %-) - that's what makes web design way more complex than any other form of design: you've practically to develop every advanced thingy once for ie, once for ns 4.x, once for ns 6 / mozilla (have you tried this one yet? looks awfully terrible ;-)) and once for opera. in most cases you'll even have to check the site on every platform (windoze, mac, linux/unix) to check if it works...

coming to your specific problem: why don't you just use tables and change the innerHTML of a <div>- or <span>-tag? would be way more efficient... i don't know if there's a behaviour for that, but it would be called something like &quot;change contents&quot;...
