I have a new avaya ip office 500 v2, and it has some add on cards in it for additional ports. I'm trying to identify the ports, and when I look in the avaya system administration I see the modules labeled BD1, BP1, and BP2. Any idea how I can identify which modules/ports they are?

Yes they are standard modules.
Bd1 = digital
Bp1 = analogue ports module.

By the way this us very basic ip office set up.
You should this..??

You can find it in the IP500 install guide.

B is base unit
D or P is digital or phone (analogue)
1/2/3/4 is the card slot within the chassis.

Try using the help button in manager it answers very basic questions like this most of the time.

man if you have to ask this basic question than you need to get some proper training asap!
