ICS communication issue.

Hi, heres my problem

Computer A (windows 2000) and Computer B (Win98) are networked. Computer A provides Computer B with internet access using ICS.

I was working on Computer B and ran Ad-Ware to remove any spyware. After the reboot i cannot connect to the internet. I recieve an IP address (release/renew no probs) on Computer B but when it comes to surfing, it get page connect be loaded. This only happens on Computer B (win98) Computer A the internet is fine.

I tried stopping ICS on Computer A and restarting it, still same issue.

Suggestions?

Ad-aware can restore the objects it removed - have you tried that? (it can be over-zealous).

Does file sharing (if used) still work over the lan?

Could try removing & reinstalling netowrking on the 98 machine.

thx. I fixed the issue.

Had to remove the Winsock regkeys and reinstall networking on the win98 machine.
