In the past on systems like the old Cinphony ACD there was a way to back up the configuration. Is there any way to back up the configuration of the Reporting for Call Center Server in case of a failure so you can restore the configuration?

When the Reporting software was installed it should have put some PDF files on the desktop. One of these PDF files show how to backup your server data.

Now keep in mind, all Call Center data is retained on the BCM. If you reporting server fails and you have to reload, it will connect to the BCM and download all the data. With newer reporting software you also will have an option to start the data at a specific point in the past. Once this option is selected, all data prior to that date is deleted from the BCM.

Thanks, When you refer to Call Center Data are you refering to the actual incoming call records such as Agent profiles, Activity codes, summaries etc. Another question, under the Maitenance tab of the Reporting Server the logging button, is that for downloading the incoming call records or just maintenance log information?

Yes..

And, in the call center connection tab there is a timer that you set to tell the CC Reporting server to go and collect data from the BCM. However, the maintenance option gives you the ability to insure the latest data gas been downloaded.
