Hello, I'm trying to setup a Netgear WAG102 Wireless Router to use our internal RADIUS/IAS server.

I've been reading through Microsoft's instructions and I'm just getting myself more confused.

I can't figure out weather I need a certificate on my wireless routers, or actually on each wireless client that connects. Not only that, but do I need a machine certificate for my IAS server itself?

Anyone know of good document that describes 802.1x security using RADIUS? (besides MS's own document)

Either way, my goal is to allow wireless clients to connect via our wireless router using their Active Directory username/pwd.

Thanks for any help!

Have you seen this;

Securing Wireless LANs with Certificate Services

The above is an excellent guide and goes through every step you need.

In a nutshell you do need a certiciate on the IAS server and the client machines need certs as well
