Hello All,

Having problems with my voice mail. It wont do the following:

1. I cant use the *T function on it so it would transfer me to another station within voice mail. I have added the extensions in the transferred allowed section of the administration but it still dont work. Do I need to reset VM for that to take affect?

2. I created a names automated attendant in VM and it would only work if I transfer within vm using call-answer. If I use transfer, it would give me an error message "you have selected an invalid number" as I press the letters.

Does someone have any suggestions on what I may be able to check. Please advise.

#1 - make sure on page 3 of system params features that transfer restriction is "digits".

 
#2 - Maybe I misunderstand, but on page 2 - type should be "auto attendant" and page 3 you should have your directory defined.

imdue, thanks for your response. The auto attendant config has all the parameters that you have suggested. So I guess I'm OK there.

However, on the system param fea. I can not change it from subscriber to Digit. It tells me to contact my TSC to change the config from Subscriber to Digit. Is that something I can modify on the web interface of the system?

When we had it changed, Avaya had to do it. Not sure if your Business Partner would be able to.
 
Would that fix my *T and transfer from names directory problem?

It will fix the *t - Don't know on the other...don't recall that being an issue for us.
