HP PSC 1410v

My HP PSC 1410v All in one printer has not been responding.
I ask it to print a document and the printer icon in the taskbar shows up, then it says that the document is printing but nothing is happening.
what should i do?

This could be a corrupt print queue on your PC. The solution I have found to work in the past is 1> uninstall the printer 2> defrag the c: drive (so you don't create the new print queue over the previous one)and reinstall the printer.
