I have an HP Officejet that is streaking when it prints.

The odd part is that it streaks in that exact same place every time, and only with the black ink Cartridge. We had tried several diffrence cartridges, and i have tried to clean the inside rollers and such.

Any ideas why?

Have you tried cleaning the underside of the carriage where the cartridge sits. Certainly on a lot of DeskJets, paper fragments and dust collects on the underside and can cause streaking. Try pushing a folded piece of A4 paper back through the paper path, ie. where it normally comes out, and then rub it from side to side underneath the cartridge carrier. If that paper comes back dirty you have got a collection of dirt etc. under the cartridge, which can streak the wet ink across the page.
Give it a try and let me know.

Cheers DEC

Here's whats really weird.

Lets say I print Letter A and Letter B.

If i sent Letter A to print, and I print 10 copies. It streaks on the exact spot on all 10 copies of Letter A.

Now I send Letter B to print, and I print 10 copies of Letter B. It streaks in the exact same spot on all 10 copies of Letter B, BUT NOT IN THE SPOT THAT IT DID ON LETTER A.
