Hello,
I am working on building an image for the Dell Latitude d610.
After I prepare the machine run sysprep capture the image, send back down the image and sysprep runs and goes to join the domain it fails, saying unable to join the domain. I was able to break out and run ipconfig, and was able to determine that it was trying to use the wireless nic instead of the wired nic. I have disabled wireless in the bios but this still happens, is there a way to tell sysprep which nic to use (set the default), or a completely diffrent way of doing it, thanks

OS = w2k
sysprep.exe = v.5.0.2195.6685
-Rhino

I am a little concerned as your wired NIC has a lower metric than your wireless.

From your description there is a cable plant or wired NIC issue. Or perhaps an issue with your image.

During install the lower metric adapter would be assigned automaticly.
