how to keep browser from launching?

Hi,

I have a web page as my desktop background, with a javascript imbedded in it. Wnen link on the page is clicked the script runs (a little animation), and then stops. However, when the script starts, it launches my default web browser, rather than just run on the desktop page. Is there a way to disable this feature so the script just runs on the desktop?

Might be better in the Javascript or Vbscript forum depending on what you use. They will probably want to see some of your code.

If it is launched as an explorer window does it launch a new window after running the script?
