Hey guys,

I need an advise from you. I am trying to set up the VPN on a Cisco PIX 506, but it's giving me an error at the end of the VPN wizard.
ERR: vpnd enable outside
CAN NOT ENABLE VPDN ON THE SAME INTERFACE AS PPPoE

On this PIX, I only have two interfaces. E0 and E1.
Ethernet 1 is configured with PPPoE (DSL)(x.x.x.158)
Ethernet 0 is the internal interface (10.0.17.254)

What am I doing wrong? I can't figure it out. Could you please tell me how to enable VPDN on the outside interface?
I would really appreciate your help. I am new to this Cisco PIX routers. I would like you to give me some instructions on what I should do.
Thanks,
Tom Smith

You will have to a IPSEC vlient VPN. You can not do a pptp client based VPN when using PPPOE on the Pix.

Thanks NetworkGhost for your prompt response. By any chance do you have any documentation on how to set up IPsec
on a PIX..
