How to compress Images with VBA

Hello,
in the Picture Toolbar in Office Products is an Shortcut "Compress Picture"
how can i use this function in my VBA - Code?

I don't see a "compress picture" in the "picture" toolbar of either Excel (2000) nor Word (2000). I have "crop", in which case cropping can be done in VBA similar to say:

Selection.InlineShapes(1).PictureFormat.CropRight = 273.39
Selection.InlineShapes(1).PictureFormat.CropBottom = 205.01
Selection.InlineShapes(1).PictureFormat.CropLeft = 330.35
Selection.InlineShapes(1).PictureFormat.CropTop = 247.8
