How to close conference room.

the scenario, I invite some extention to join the conference. and now I want to close the conference room, not only me leave the room but all partys must leave it.

Thanks for suggestion.

Since all conferences are built around a simple "meet me" shortcode, there isn't much control. There are ways to stop people from joining if you go through vmpro, but there is no way to drop parties unless you turn on the "drop external only impromptu conference". Of course, this requires someone internally to be on the conference. Once they are gone, everyone externally drops.

Unless you want to get into one-x portal I suppose. Maybe the new conferencing center thingy can do it; haven't play with that yet.

If you are the conference host you can drop calls from One-X Portal, and I think I've seen it on 96xx phones as well.
This would require you to use your personal meet-me bridge.

Also user how call your personal bridge while your not on it will hear MOH until you enter the bridge.

I would think that you could get creative in Vm Pro and only allow callers into your conf bridge when certain conditions are fulfilled and otherwise you get kicked out.
I would make it a button on the phone that sets a group out of service and when the transfer from VmPro happens it can only do it when the group is not OOS.
need to create a group per person that wants that security and a button on their phone but is doable.

If the other parties are external, there is an option in the configuration to automatically end ad-hoc conferences when there is no longer any internal party. Somewhere under System | Telephony.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

Dear All,

Thanks for all suggestion.

but my scenario is like this:
we know, IP office can do paging group on avaya IP Phone or avaya digital phone very well.
but it can not do paging group on SIP end point.

We have plan to paging group using sip end point device (barix announcicom 100).
we use conference feature on ip office because we can not group paging via sip extention.
Paging group via conference works fine but when we want to close conference to all party, only me leave the room.
so the paging group still running and it make Paging speaker (relay contactor) countinues announce. while we want to drop the relay
to stop the announcer.

9.1 supports 3rd party auto answer, so you can page SIP devices. I remember seeing it in the release notes, but all the config and it working will be dependent on the SIP device :)

Thanks Amriddle01.

What i was done, the IPO can do sip paging. but not SIP GROUP PAGING.
i set the schenario:

SC : *1N/dial paging/N/0
Hunt GRoup extn : 8000
ring mode : Collective
Member hunt group, SIP extn : 8001 & 8002.

I try to does:
step 1 : dial *1800. the extention 8001 on paging (auto answer)work fine but not in 8002.
step 2 : dial *1800. the extention 8002 on paging (auto answer)work fine but not in 8001
step 3 : dial *1800. the extention 8001 on paging (auto answer) work fine but not in 8002.

i do many times on above steps but is like set ring mode as rotary.
while we set ring mode as collective.

You would normally only page to a single controller/Amp and that goes to the speakers, have they skimped on infrastructure and trying to use the system to make several independent paging speakers act as one? That's not the way to do it :)

Thanks Amriddle01,

Your are right Amriddle01.
i only need page one extention and leave AMP do for more the one speaker or lines.
but my schenario is.
we have 2 paging system AMP with different brand and location. so we need do group paging to activate 2 AMP with different zone.

Could you suggestion why paging group with collective ring mode does not work on IP office with SIP client extention.
sholud i change specific parameter for sip client.

Thanks a lot of.

The host can lock the meet me conference from within one-X Portal. There are few other controls available to the host as well.

That's a dope idea Westi.

Did you know?
If they name the hurricane after you, you have to pay for the damage.

How about one-X Portal for managing conference? Isn't it good?

Hi nithinbh,

user doesn't use one-x-portal.
they only hava minimum system of ip office.
no voicemail pro and other app.

Well they're doomed. They get 128 ports of embedded ad hoc conferencing with maximum of 64 members per conference.

To answer the next question, the conference phone is a conference room phone. Use a display phone in the conference room on mute to set up and moderate the conference. The conference phone then is called by the conference moderator using the conference add feature.

Kick the unwanted guests out by selecting them and dropping them from the moderator hamdset.

Now dieting.
